Recently I went on a short holiday to visit some of my family in Ireland, and so I thought that I would show you what I brought with me in my makeup bag. These are also the products that I am either testing out or have been loving recently. As there is limited space when travelling, I only chose one product from each category.
It all fits in this handy Zoeva makeup bag too - brushes and all!
I love to moisturise my face with No 7 'Advanced Day Cream' before applying the Benefit 'The POREfessional Primer' Mini which I have been trying out and I am loving this pairing as it makes my foundation apply effortlessly and set quickly. The Revlon 'Colourstay Foundation' has such good coverage and paired with the Collection 'Lasting Perfection Concealer', it will cover any flaws.
The Soap and Glory 'One Heck Of A Blot Powder' is such a good powder as just a light layer will last a good few hours but you don't look too matte and unnatural. The Sleek 'Contouring and Blush Palette' in Light is good to bring travelling as it is all in one space. Ideally however, I would have preferred to bring a different bronzer as this one is slightly too dark for me, but the highlighter in this palette is excellent.
I brought my beloved Urban Decay 'Naked Palette' as you can honestly do any sort of eye look with this palette and its beautiful shades and the MAC 'Painterly Paint Pot' to prime my eyelids. For my brows I used Benefit 'Brow Zings' in Light which is good and compact. I paired two mascaras together - Maybelline 'Lash Sensational Mascara' and Benefit 'Rollerlash Mascara' Mini which I loved!
I only brought two options for lips - a day time and a night time. My daytime option was MAC 'Brave' which is a pink with brown undertones and is quite nude so will go with any eyeshadow. My night time option was my go to red shade MAC 'Ruby Woo'. I also brought Maybelline 'Baby Lips' Lip Balm.
What makeup would you choose to bring on holiday?
