One of my most liked posts are where I show what makeup I'll be bringing on my holiday, so that is what I am going to be doing today. As you are reading this, I am on holiday in Spain with my family. As it is a family holiday, in a hot country, I will be taking quite simple makeup this time, as I will probably only wear makeup in the evening, if that.
I am not bringing any moisturiser with me as I will be undoubtedly be using suncream before any makeup is applied. For primer, I have chosen the Body Shop 'Instablur', which I have been using for a while now. For foundation, I recently picked up the L'Oreal 'Nude Magique Cushion', and even though I have only used it once, it was a nice natural looking foundation, and super quick to apply! I am only bringing one concealer, my trusty Collection 'Lasting Perfection', which I'm sure I've talked enough already in previous posts. I am bringing two powders, as the Kiko powder has more coverage, so perfect for days I'm wearing less makeup, and the Soap & Glory powder is really mattifying, but translucent, so perfect when wearing foundation.
This has been my favourite combination recently. The Benefit 'Hoola' for a really nice bronzed look, the Soap & Glory 'Love At First Blush' for a natural looking pink flush, and The Balm 'Mary Lou Manizer' which is just an amazing white golden highlight.
For eyes and brows, I am keeping it quite easy. The Too Faced 'Natural Eyes' palette has nine beautiful shades to get me through any event, and the two individual eyeshadows from Kiko are perfect for a quick eye look (more detail in my last post). My mascara choices are obviously Maybelline 'Lash Sensational' and Benefit 'Roller Lash' - my current holy grail combo. For eyebrows, I am bringing Benefit 'Brow Zings' and Soap & Glory 'Archery'.
I may have gone a bit over the top with the lip choices, but I mean you can never have too many right? From left to right, I have got; MAC 'Brave', 'Velvet Teddy', 'On Hold', Revlon 'Honey' and a really sheer lipstick from Number 7 that I'm going to use as a lip balm. They range from nude to pinky red, which just screams summer to me.
What would you bring on a hot holiday?
