Autumn Makeup Look

Autumn colours are my favourite. Reds, browns and golds are always my go to look. I think they really suit my complexion, as the gold highlights my blue eyes, and a red/brown lip suits my pale skin. I think this look would suit anyone though and it is quite easy to recreate. It is a slightly heavier eye look, perfect for a day or a night out.

I have been loving creating a really sharp line with my eyeshadow, to fake an eyeliner effect.

Nivea Men 'Sensitive Post Shave Balm' Review

I got this product back in July, and since then I have used it every time I do my makeup, without fail. I kept seeing this product being used as a primer on Youtube, and being raved about, so I wanted to see what it was like for myself. Fast forward four months, and I can't believe I ever doubted them.

The primer starts off as a white liquid, which quickly sets clear and tacky. It does have the typical smell of male products, but that soon goes and doesn't linger all day. You only need the tiniest amount to cover your face, so the 100ml of product you get will definitely last a long time.

I love the finish it gives my makeup. This primer really does set my makeup all day, with a sort of dewy glow. I have oily skin, so no matter what primer I use, I always have to re-powder at least once during the day if I want my makeup to look nice and fresh, but this post shave balm keeps my foundation looking natural, and I don't have to worry about fading.

The only drawback I have of this product, is that it doesn't have a pump, so every time I use it I have to pour it out, which does mean that I waste some product occasionally. For £4.83 though, it is still a bargain!

Have you tried this product out yet?

Current Cheek Combination

Wow. I have not blogged for a whole month. Oops. I have been very busy as I have been shipped off to University, which is exciting but has unfortunately taken my attention away from blogging. Let's start off easy again - my favourite combination for cheeks right now.

I have been using these three products together in combination since May whenever I want a quick, easy and simple makeup look, that still looks really put together and lovely.

'Hoola' Bronzer by Benefit - This bronzer is honestly amazing. I'd be really surprised if you hadn't heard of it. It is so long lasting and pigmented, and has a natural finish as it is matte.  However, it is slightly too orange toned for me to be used as a contour shade, but if you can get away with it I would totally recommend doing that as it comes with a perfectly sized brush.

'Love At First Blush' by Soap & Glory - This blush is a combination of dark pink, light pink and white shimmer, that when you swirl together becomes a natural pink with a highlight that reflects light perfectly, but is not enough to be your only highlighter. It is an amazing 'my natural cheek but better'.

'Mary-Lou Manizer' by The Balm - This highlighter I have already raved about loads of times, but it is the most perfect champagne gold shimmer. I have done a more in depth post recently, which you can see here

What's your current cheek combination?
