Maybelline Haul

The age-old, classic story happened once again. I went into Boots for concealer, and left with some new products from Maybelline, but no concealer. There was a deal at Boots, where if you bought three products from Maybelline, you got a free bottle of their setting spray, so I succumbed and bought three products. I feel like I got a bargain though as I got four products for only £12.98!

'Super Stay 24 Makeup-Locking Setting Spray' - This is the spray that kicked it all off. I have oily skin, so anything I can try to prolong my makeup's staying power without having to touch it up, I will. This one sounds interesting as it claims that it is oil-free and makes your makeup last 24 hours, which I probably will never try, but I guess it is a bonus for a long day at university. I will get back to you on how I think it works. This was free.

'Super Stay 7 Days Gel Nail Varnish' in 882 Rose Veil - This nail varnish immediately caught my eye, even before I saw the deal. Recently, I have been loving anything the colour of rose gold, specifically jewellery and clothes. When I saw this nail varnish in the perfect shade, and with a metallic glitter finish, I knew I was going to buy it. It is also a festive colour without being too over the top for the beginning of December. This was £4.49.

'Master Contour V-Shape Duo Stick' in 01 Light - I have not had much luck with finding 'acceptably priced' cream contour products, as they have all been too dark for my skin tone. However, I keep searching in hope of the perfect match. I picked up this stick which has a side for a matte contour shade and a side for a matte highlight shade, because I have seen it advertised and it looks quite creamy and easy to blend. Again, I will try it and review it for you soon. This was £6.99.

'Brow Satin' in Dark Blonde - I have once again been loving filling in my eyebrows, as I think that, with help from my roommate Becs, I have finally shaped my eyebrows to a good shape after a horrific encounter with a lady who basically waxed them into thin tiny little worms - not a good look for anyone. I picked this up as the powder that I usually use is running out, so I thought that I would try something different. One side is a pencil, which you would use to shape the eyebrows, and the other side is a filling powder for the rest of the brow. This was £5.99.

Have you got any of these products?
