November Favourites

Soap & Glory 'Mist You Madly' Spray - Now that it is once again winter, I have gone back to using more subtle perfumes, with a lighter scent. This is a floral based scent, that is quite girly, but I think that it would suit anyone of any age. I have had many compliments on how I smell, even ten hours after putting it on, which is always a great feeling, and so it clearly lasts a long time.

L'Oreal Paris 'True Match' Foundation in Rose Ivory- This is a relatively new purchase for me. I picked it up completely randomly one day, after looking at the extensive shade selection and seeing that they had a shade that looked light enough for my skin colour, which is quite rare amongst cheaper foundations. It is a medium coverage, but it is easily buildable. It surprisingly lasts quite well on my oily skin, as it isn't matte, but once powdered stays matte for around four hours before I feel like I need a retouch.

MaxFactor 'Excess Shimmer' in 25 Bronze - This is a cream eyeshadow, and it is beautiful. It is quite a dark bronze colour - in comparison, much darker than 'On and On Bronze' by Maybelline. A little goes a long way as it is has a very smooth texture and applies quite wet. I love this eyeshadow all over my lid, quickly blended out before it sets for a more smokey look. The colour payoff is excellent, and the shimmer is definitely in excess.

MAC 'Taupe' Lipstick - Of course I have a MAC lipstick in my favourites. I bought this lipstick in the summer time, and purposely left it for October/November as it is such a perfect Autumnal colour. This time around it is the shade 'Taupe', which is a brown shade with red undertones, in a matte finish. I have pictures of me wearing it in this post if you want a visual. It is quite a bold colour, but is definitely still wearable.

Essie Nail Varnish in 'Master Plan' - Yes, this is once again in a favourites post as I am still loving it. I had acrylics on for most of October and November in a light purple colour, so when I got them off I really wanted a nice, neutral colour. 'Master Plan' is a grey shade with brown undertones, and it honestly goes with everything I wear. Essie is one of my favourite nail varnish brands too as they're good quality, pigmented colours.

What have you been loving in November?
